A rebounder introduces a moving surface into an exercise setting. For a physiotherapist, that makes equipment choice part of a wider clinical decision rather than a promise of recovery. Consider who will use it, what you want to observe and how you will supervise the activity. The BERG Fitness Trampoline 110 is an indoor adult rebounder, rated for ages 14+ with a maximum user weight of 120 kg. Those limits are starting points for screening, not evidence that every patient within them is suitable for rebounding.
The 36 elastic bands provide a smooth, quiet bounce without metal springs. A clinician may consider that movement for low-impact loading within an individually assessed programme. However, low impact does not mean no load, no risk or automatic suitability after an injury. This equipment is not being offered as a medical intervention. Decisions about starting, progressing or avoiding an exercise belong with the treating professional. A person who feels uncomfortable should not be encouraged to continue simply because the exercise looks gentle or another patient enjoys it.
Balance and proprioception exercises need a clear purpose and an appropriate level of challenge. Before introducing movement on the rebounder, consider how the person approaches the equipment, steps onto it and follows instructions. Plan how they will stop and step off as carefully as the exercise itself. A clinician might choose a small, controlled movement rather than a bouncing sequence, but that is an individual assessment rather than a routine prescribed here. Record the support and supervision used so that colleagues do not assume the same activity is suitable without them.
The stability bar option offers a handlebar for additional support and balance. It may be worth considering where a person wants a point of contact while becoming familiar with the surface. It does not replace clinical supervision, prevent falls or make an unsuitable exercise suitable. Avoid assuming an attachment is appropriate for transfers or for taking a particular load without checking the instructions. Compare the two product pages before deciding whether your clinic needs the bar version, the standard rebounder, or further information before either purchase.
Measure the intended room, allowing for the person moving as well as the equipment footprint. The rebounder is round, 110 cm in diameter and 30 cm high on its legs; these measurements are not a complete clearance recommendation. Check the available overhead space and keep access routes clear. Choose a level indoor surface and follow the manufacturer’s placement instructions. There is no safety net. Think about where a supervising clinician will stand and how other patients will move through the room without crossing the exercise area.

Foldable aluminium legs can help when a treatment room has several uses. Check the actual storage location rather than assuming the rebounder will fit beneath furniture: folded dimensions are not specified here. Before each session, follow the manufacturer’s setup and inspection instructions, and do not use equipment that appears damaged. Agree responsibility for cleaning, checks and reporting concerns between clinicians. Where a programme continues at home, discuss the difference between a supervised clinic activity and independent use instead of sending a patient away with a generic bounce routine.
Tell us whether you are buying for a private practice, sports-injury clinic or shared service, and include the quantity, county and preferred configuration. Describe any practical questions about access, storage or the stability bar so they can be addressed before ordering. Ask for the applicable commercial-use warranty terms in advance; do not assume domestic cover applies to professional use. If you are planning several units, confirm current availability and delivery arrangements before scheduling appointments around their arrival. A purchasing enquiry can clarify the equipment, but cannot replace your clinical judgement.
